Dr. Bradley N. Axelrod is a clinical psychologist who has specialized training in clinical neuropsychology.  He is the director of neuropsychological and psychological assessment services at the John D. Dingell Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, where he has been since 1990.  Dr. Axelrod has published extensively in the psychology and neuropsychology fields. 
 
He has authored over 170 professional articles, 20 book chapters, and two books.  He has made over 210 presentations at scientific meetings for psychology and neuropsychology.  

Diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea in 2009, Dr. Axelrod behaviorally changed his sleep hygiene and consistently used Nasal CPAP treatment for six years. After a 20% weight loss, and a sleep study revaluation, he changed treatment to Oral Appliance Therapy in January 2016. As a member of the AAHS Board of Directors, he looks forward to assisting in increasing the public awareness, education, and treatment of sleep disorders.
