Comorbid Conditions

There are many common comorbid conditions associated with sleep disorders.  Comorbid conditions are conditions or disorders that you have at the same time and that overlap or interact in some way. It is important to recognize if you have other comorbid conditions, not only because they affect your general health, but also because they may affect the way your sleep disorder is treated, and vice versa.

Below is a list of common comorbid conditions related to each common sleep disorder. If you feel that you may be exhibiting symptoms of any of these conditions, consult your sleep care or other healthcare provider.
